Nicks moved to the Austin area and did open mics at Cap City and Kick butt coffee. 2005 Kevin Nicks Auditioned on Talent Rock was invited to perform in Orlando Florida on the Fuse Television network.
April 15th 2008 Kevin Nicks shared his talents with Fort Hood wounded Warriors division.
2006 Kevin Nicks was opening for Buddy Miles around Austin Texas. 2008 - 2012 Kevin was the opening act and filling feature spots on the road with B.E.T. comedian Ronn Moore aka White Chocolate turned from secular comedy to doing Christian clean comedy. Literally from 1,000 seat theatre's to 10,000 to 20,000 mega churches.
Victoria Texas was a very regular spot with few Headline Comedian's Ronn Moore aka White Chocolate, Kenny Weeks, D.D. Ingram, opener Kevin Nicks aka Hillbilly.
2012 Ronn Moore aka White Chocolate invited Nicks to team up on a television project with Messiah Television. President / Producers/ executive Officer Jake Salazar had a full production team with branding team, filming crew. With an amazing signed contract on the table the show was on the road. Corpus, New York Madison Square Garden, Denali larger platforms were on the way.
Kevin Nicks was involved in a serious auto accident in Leander Texas involving Nicks in his 1998 mercedes sl500 and eighteen wheeler. Nicks was in a wheelchair for three years.
2016 Ronn Moore aka White Chocolate did not hesitate to get Kevin Nicks back on stage buy 2017 the duo we're back on tour.
Unfortunately Ronn Moore aka White Chocolate passed away unexpectedly.
