The Lakebottom Jazz Band, based out of the Ragtime Oriole in Marble Falls, has earned a reputation for playing hot, vintage jazz. They're especially known for performing improvised New Orleans classics, traditional 1920's orchestrations, and swinging arrangements scored by the maestro and pianist himself, Richard Golladay.
The concert takes place at Austin's Ben Hur Shrine Temple, 7811 Rockwood Ln. on Sunday, November 23, 2:00-4:45. This is a family-friendly event and there's plenty of parking. Snacks are available. There is plenty of free parking at Ben Hur. The hall contains a large dance floor. Snacks, beer, wine and sodas are available. Patrons can bring their own food. ATJS concerts are family-friendly.
