Position Overview
The Front Desk Coordinator is responsible for managing client interactions, scheduling, and front-of-house operations. This role is essential to maintaining the flow of appointments and ensuring a high standard of service.
Schedule Requirements (Essential Function)
This position requires consistent coverage of four days per week, including either a Monday morning shift or a Saturday morning shift. Reliable attendance during scheduled shifts is an essential function of this role.
Key Responsibilities
Greet clients and manage check-in/check-out process
Schedule appointments and manage booking system
Answer phone calls, texts, and emails in a timely and professional manner
Process payments, memberships, and tips
Maintain cleanliness and organization of front desk and common areas
Support therapists with scheduling flow and communication
Restock retail items and assist with light inventory tasks
Maintain a calm, welcoming environment for clients
Qualifications
Strong communication and customer service skills
Highly organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Reliable, punctual, and consistent with attendance
Comfortable using scheduling or POS software (experience with Mindbody or similar is a plus)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
Ability to lift light items (laundry, retail stock, etc.)
Preferred Experience
Previous front desk, spa, wellness, or healthcare experience
Interest in massage therapy or holistic health
Compensation
Hourly depending on experience
